Also make sure to take them to the vet frequently and make sure they are healthy. Make sure to brush your cat to reduce furball. You should spay or neuter your cat, depending on the adoption agency/pet shop, they should already do it for you, but if they haven't, you should do it as it'll help with the overpopulation crisis and not make your cat go crazy around mating season.
