Portfolio 2023-24
This year I've been working in Unreal Engine learning how it works, for my final project, I worked with Jack Moura and Siosaia Tuiileila on a game where you have to basically defeat a bunch of goblins in order to pay rent, the structure is supposed to be a roguelike where you have to survive several days and if you die, you start over, currently it's still in alpha stages and is only a proof of concept for what we could do, but we are interested in furthering our current progress (Note: This project is archived and cannot be accessed anymore publicly due to 2.0 superseding this version)
Portfolio 2024-25
Semester 1 - I'm currently in the process of going through unity again and, as a result, have made a guided project as part of a CodeHS lesson, the game is called Zany Slopes. Zany Slopes is a game where you are trying to ski down a mountain without getting caught by a yeti as fast as possible. There are two levels in the game, when you beat one, you go to the other and then the title screen again. It's available embedded in a tab
Semester 2 - Last year, I tried to work on a game in Unreal Engine called Goblins for Rent that, for the reason of switching back to Unity, didn't work out. I wanted to try to revisit the idea we had on the inital project but in Unity, while there isn't much progress here as of yet, I may or may not come back to this project in the future. This is a 2D sidescroller rougelike where you're supposed to defeat enemies in order to pay rent. Currently the movement such as running and jumping are implemented alongside with their respective animations. A unity published proof can be played by clicking the link above, I may publish this project to github in the future as well.
